    Job Title: Assistant Hub Manager

    Location: Battersea

    Salary: £28,000.00 per annum plus a bonus scheme

    Job Type: Full-time, permanent

    Backed by strong financial support and experiencing rapid expansion, we are currently in an exciting phase. To support our growth and objectives, we are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team in Battersea, London.

    About the role:

    The Assistant Hub Manager will work closely with the Hub Manager to oversee daily operations, uphold service standards, meet efficiency targets, and adhere to company policies and Health & Safety protocols. The focus is on delivering top-tier service to both our clients and their end customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and maintaining motivation levels. Regularly engage with riders and embody a positive representation of the organization.
    • Collaborate with the night shift supervisor to guarantee successful parcel sorting and route allocation for depot riders.
    • Assist in training new couriers, including onboarding and continuous development, in coordination with the HR team. Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews with new employees.
    • Monitor rider performance for all clients using data metrics and qualitative assessments.
    • Manage client bookings in the delivery system, plan delivery routes, and assign tasks to riders.
    • Ensure timely completion of all deliveries and provide clients with necessary proof of delivery.
    • Maintain Health and Safety standards in the depot and communicate standard operating procedures to the team.
    • Suggest and implement efficiency and quality improvements, occasionally acting as a rider for parcel deliveries.
