- EDP Drug and Alcohol Services are a thriving charity providing services across Devon and Dorset, in the community and within prisons. We're passionate about supporting individuals who face complex issues, including substance misuse, mental ill health, and other harmful, addictive and offending behaviour, to improve their lives._
Due to an internal promotion, we currently have an exciting opportunity to join our clinical substance misuse team in Devon, as an Independent Prescriber.
As an Independent Prescriber, you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical assessment and diagnosis for our service users in Newton Abbot.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, and solution focused who can therapeutically engage with our service users to support their recovery.
This role will primarily be based from our clinic in Newton Abbot; however, there may be occasional requirement to travel to some our satellite hubs in South Devon.
Experience of working within substance misuse services is desirable but not essential, as our Clinical Leads are able to provide you with structured training and support.
