    Role description:

    Arcadis is seeking a Finance Business Partner. To provide accurate reports to Business Directors and Business Unit Controllers across the UK Places GBA. Proactively support PMs to ensure Arcadis projects are set up, forecast, billed and closed in a timely manner as set out in the Arcadis Way Principles. Work closely with Business Partners to ensure accurate reporting of performance, minimize working capital and escalate risks identified. The position will be based in United Kingdom.

    This role will report to BU Controller Places

    Role accountabilities:

    The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Build trusted relationships with Business Directors to ensure appropriate quality and service
  • Build trusted relationships across the UK Places Finance Team - to further collaboration
  • Identify continuous improvement and encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing across the wider finance team
  • Support Business Unit Controllers interpret month end results; review and analyse P&L results including multiplier, FB and indirect costs.
  • Support Business Unit Controllers with the business planning & estimate process
  • Provide insightful management information to Business Directors / Operations Directors
  • Drive improvements in working capital by reviewing and driving billing/cash collection
  • Train Project Managers on Oracle and support where required
  • Advise Project Managers on efficient project set-up structures, ensuring revenue recognition in compliance with IFRS
  • Support Project Managers to reforecast projects as required; identify and challenge project performance changes to drive accuracy of month end reporting
  • Support on project reviews as required; report any risks identified to management
  • Ensure reliable and accurate month end reporting of project performance
  • Comply with Arcadis Way policies and procedures
  • Required Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified accounting qualification or equivalent by experience
  • Ability to organize, motivate and develop a team
  • Relevant experience of working in a medium/large organization
  • Excel and ERP to a high proficiency
  • Attention to detail and consistent high standards
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
