    You will have the opportunity to be employed on a fixed term Band 4 Return to Practice contract.

    Location varies across Hertfordshire depending on your profession.

    We wouldbe delighted to hear from the following professions:

  • Speech andLanguage Therapists
  • OccupationalTherapists
  • Physiotherapists
  • Podiatrists
  • Dieticians

    • We areinterested in hearing from both full and part-time applicants.

    You mustregister with the HEE Return to Practice Programme to be eligible.

    Main duties of the job

    The HCPCdefines a Returnee to Practice as an individual who has been out of practicefor more than two years. This applies to you if your registration has lapsed,or if you did not go on to register once finishing your qualifications, andtherefore have not practiced. This does not apply to you if you have alreadyattained HCPC registration and you are looking for work experience.

    HCT supportsReturner to Practice through clinical supervision, clinical practice, formalCPD and support to complete the application for re-registration with the HCPC.Returners will also have access to our Preceptorship Programme; specifically designed to support anddevelop those who are going through a transitionary period in theircareer. HCT have supported several RtPover the past year alone who have all then successfully returned to employmentwithin our Trust.

    As aReturner you can complete supervised practice within our organisation via tworoutes:

    Unpaid/voluntary route

    Paid/employer led route (Band 4)

    Postregistration exciting and rewarding career opportunities may be available

    Youll berequired to commit to:

    Completing contracted hours

    Completing professional competencies

    Completing Trust Induction

    Promoting the trust valuesthroughout your contract

    Registering with the HEE Return toPractice Programme - see below*

    Return toPractice: allied health professionals, healthcare scientists and practisingpsychologists | Health Education England (

    All offerswill be subject according to service needs and re-registration requirements.
