Quotient is recruiting for a Team Leader to join our Manufacturing and Operational Support department, based at our site near Penicuik, EH26 0BF. The role is a fulltime, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week with flexible working options. This post holder will be responsible for scheduling the resources (people, equipment, rooms) of the Buffer and Reagents team to meet the needs of internal and external customers. This includes leading a team to ensure Reagent products for MosaiQ and Alba lines are delivered on time in line with GMP requirements._

_JOB DESCRIPTION_:

The main responsibilities will include:_

- _Generation and publication of achievable schedules for people, equipment and rooms to capture daily and weekly deliverables, to ensure internal and external customer expectations are achieved._
- _Attending inter-departmental meetings to communicate team output, schedule adherence, schedule delays and accommodate and communicate reasonable schedule adjustment requests from other departments._
- _Participating in all aspects of the procurement and qualification of equipment including participation in validation studies._
- _Ensuring all work is documented, checked, reviewed and completed promptly in line with GMP and SOPs._
- _Progress Quality records (CAPA's, NC's, CC's, etc) within agreed timelines._
- _Actively participate in the review in updating of procedures, SOP's and any other relevant documents _
- _Ensure teams are have the correct skills to achieve the business requirements, implement training and development plans and complete appraisals._

_QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED_
- _Further education credential e.g. Higher in Math's/English._
- _Experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity_
- _Experience working within a highly regulated and controlled environment (Life Sciences desirable)_
- _Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)_
- _Strong understanding of GMP and GDP _
- _Motivated individual with strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills_
