Financial Controller

At the forefront of their market for over 25 years, our client is an innovative, fast-moving manufacturing business producing branded goods sold in over 200 countries.

A high-profile small business, it has recorded fantastic growth in recent years, includingacquiring well-known competitors and developing strong partnerships with £multi-billion global players.

Its ambitious leadership team is now looking to appoint a Financial Controller to succeed its Finance Director who is planning to retire in the near term.

Focussed on delivering strong commercial performance, operational productivity, efficiency and sustainability initiatives you will play a key role as part of the management team in delivering further advances and maximising potential.

**_Your responsibilities as Financial Controller will include: - **- Leading all financial and management accounting for the site

  • Managing a small team
  • Reporting and analysis of performance
  • Maintaining, reviewing and improving internal financial controls
  • Planning, budgeting, forecasting, working capital management and supporting sound decision making
  • Supporting the coordination, integration and consolidation of the business with Group
  • Statutory reporting and returns, including audit liaison
  • Keeping good banking relations
  • Treasury and credit management
**_As Financial Controller you'll need:
- *
  • Strong commercial and technical experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant or similar, ideally gained in manufacturing
  • Relevant qualification such as ACMA, ACCA or ACA
  • ERP and financial reporting systems experience, including advanced Excel
  • Proactive and positive with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Salary of £40,000 to £55,000 + benefits
  • To secure maximum pay/rewards, you must possess all outlined experience, skills, knowledge and qualifications
  • Full time, permanent role
  • Site based with some flexibility to work from home
