World Leader in Glucose Monitoring, Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) designs, develops and manufactures glucose monitoring systems for use in both home and hospital settings.

We have a Centre of Excellence in Witney for the development and manufacture of electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes.

The site has been instrumental in the research, development and manufacture of the FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring System as well as exciting developments in the Libre family including FreeStyle Libre 2, FreeStyle Libre 3 and the Libre Sense system.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Statistician, ideal graduate role, to join our Technical Operations team to provide key statistical support across the ADC product range collaborating with Technical, Operations, Research & Development, Engineering, Quality and Regulatory teams.


_ Typical work includes:
_


  • Transferring new products into operations from R&D
  • Support manufacturing, stability and product performance monitoring and technical investigations
  • Manipulate and challenge data and processes to drive improvements
  • Assist with the introduction of analytical test methods & development trials (analysis of variance, setting acceptance criteria & capability analysis) and support efforts to reduce measurement variability
  • Work with technologists, scientists and engineers to introduce new machines, materials and processes, inputting into the design of experiments and analysis of resultant data
