    Graduate Electronics Development Engineer (Digital / Embedded):

    Would suit an Engineer with some experience or a Graduate wishing to start a new career. With an Immediate start (negotiable), this vacancy represents an excellent opportunity to work for one of the UK's leading Lift & Escalator Control Systems Manufacturers. We are looking for a bright and innovative electronic development engineer to join our product development team.

    Responsibilities

    The role is very diverse working on a range of products and applying the latest technology to create Lift & Escalator Control Systems. The Engineer will gain experience in the below fields:

    Hardware Development

    Control Systems Design

    Embedded Systems Design

    Microcontrollers

    Digital Electronics (also some Analogue Electronics)

    Power Electronics (low and high power)

    PCB Design

    Software Development

    Embedded C and the possibility for other PC based languages.

    Communication Protocols:(TCP/IP, ETHERNET, Wi-Fi, USB, CAN,

    RS232, RS485 / RS422, I2C).

    Desirable Skills (but not essential)

    Knowledge of Lifts and/or Lift Control Systems.

    Knowledge of Escalators and/or Escalator Control Systems.

    Knowledge of Functional Safety.

    A suitable candidate will be hard working, dedicated and enthusiastic.

    The opportunities for progression within the company are very good.

    Qualifications

    The Engineer will have obtained a good Electronic / Electrical Engineering Degree (or equivalent).
