Description

As a leading manufacturer and supplier of bespoke products, this multi-national company with more than 30 years of history offers an excellent opportunity for a detail focussed Quality Inspector to join their Quality team.

As a Quality Inspector, you will join the Quality team and work closely with the Technical Manager to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and workmanship according to BS EN ISO 9001 & AS9100.

You will also help improve efficiency by identifying and resolving any quality and manufacturing issues that arise.

Some of your main tasks will include:

Checking the quality of components and assemblies using various inspection methods and tools.
Following and enforcing all health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Communicating effectively with other departments and providing engineering support when needed.
Writing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) to document and track any defects or deviations and their associated costs.
Performing first off, patrol and final inspections as required.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have previous experience in a similar Quality / Certification role in a manufacturing environment.

You will also need to have a good understanding of quality procedures and be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications.

You will be a great team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

This role will work over a 2 week rotation between Day & Night shift.
Day Shift is Mon to Thu 7.30am - 4.30pm & Fridays 7.30am pm
Night Shift is Mon 10pm - 7am & Tue to Thu 9pm - 7am

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
