- Individuals will need to be able to work in a highenergyfastpaced lab or controlled environment setting.
- Receiving and inventorying plant samplematerials including seed and plant parts.
- Organizing placing or retrieving inventories(ambient 4C or 20C walkin coolers warehouse or 80C upright units)Note: For warehouse inventory only the use/operation of forkliftequipment is preferred but will be offered as an option.
- Creating andshipping plant sampling kits
- Aliquoting and packaging seed for distribution
- Preparing seed fordownstream molecular analysis
- Responsible for data system entry in corporate database
- Assist with samplepreparation for downstream studies and customers through use ofspecialized milling equipment
- Assist with general plant care seed propagationpollination and tissue sampling in controlled environment settings
- There is opportunityfor the candidate to move within the various roles as proficiencyis gained.

- TheRegulatory Science Resource Technician will be trained on and mustbe able to follow EPA GLP USDAAPHIS and/or other internationalregulations.
- Compliance with the required processes and regulationsis paramount.
- Failure to do so can lead to termination and could alsolead to violations and/or fines levied against the company.
- Maintenance of GLPcompliance via documentation for laboratory equipment will also berequired.
- Individuals must be able to document all seed and samplehandling activities in both electronic and manual systems.
- Individuals must beable to perform repetitive tasks in a fastpaced detailorientedenvironment and be able to communicate with sample owners otherteam members and analysts.
- Understanding of production plans protocols and relevantSOPs for the care handling or preparation of seed or samples willalso be required.
- Individuals must be able to lift up to 50 pounds invarious conditions.
