Job Details:


As the HR Administrator you will provide effective support to the Company, undertaking operational and administrative activities across the function.

You will support the full employee lifecycle and act as a first point of contact for HR queries.


Day to Day Responsibilities:


  • Support with all aspects of the employee life cycle including administration of new starters, leavers, holidays, HR processes, reference requests
  • Be the first point of contact for HR queries from the business
  • Ensure all HR processes are clearly defined and followed to ensure consistency across the business
  • Update and advise on policies and procedures
  • Support the team in the delivery of HR Projects
  • Provide general administrative support and work closely with the HR Director to provide an excellent HR service to the business
  • Make recommendations for improvements in processes and practices
  • Organise and manage the induction process for new starters
  • Responsibility for all recruitment administration including managing trackers, arranging interviews and communication with agencies
  • Take ownership for first stage interviews for all vacancies below Manager level.
  • Be the expert in the HR system ensuring it is kept up to date and all new starters are trained on the system in their induction
  • Work with the US HR team on HR operations, processes, systems and benefits
  • Work with the Financial Controller on pensions administration
  • Drafting and coordinating internal communications, keeping all team members engaged and up to date. Using a range of channels to deliver defined employee communications
  • Actively manage own development and continuously identifying development opportunities
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required

About You:


  • 1 to 2 years experience in a similar Admin or HR Admin role
  • Strong communication skills the ability to communicate effectively with all of the organisation is key. Strong written communication skills is also very important
  • Approachable and ability to build strong relationships across the Company
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multitask
  • Good time management skills, with an ability to work to tight timescales and deadlines
  • To have a proven ability to manage confidential/sensitive information and situations
  • Good MS Outlook experience
