**About the Project/Service**

Family Guides is a project that has been co-created with families with lived experience of poverty, as a way of supporting other local families who are facing hardship. Funded jointly by Trusthouse Charitable Foundation and Moondance Foundation the overall aim of the project is to support local families to improve their ability to maximise the support and services available to them due to the cost-of-living crisis.

Over a twelve-month period, we expect the project to work with 40 local families with an emphasis on delivering the following outcomes.
- Improved financial literacy skills.
- Increased health and wellbeing, particularly mental wellbeing.
- Increased household income.

As part of this work, we are looking to employ several Family Support Workers to help in delivering the outcomes. The role will suite an energetic, committed and creative individual with a sense of humour and lived experience of hardship

**Ynglŷn â'r Prosiect / Gwasanaeth**

Mae Tywyswyr Teulu yn brosiect sydd wedi'i gyd-greu gyda theuluoedd sydd â phrofiad o fyw mewn tlodi, fel ffordd o gefnogi teuluoedd lleol eraill sy'n wynebu anfantais. Wedi'i ariannu'n gydweithredol gan Sefydliad Elusennol Trusthouse a Sefydliad Moondance, nod cyffredinol y prosiect yw cefnogi teuluoedd lleol i wella eu gallu i fanteisio ar y gefnogaeth a'r gwasanaethau sydd ar gael iddynt oherwydd argyfwng cost byw.

**Job Purpose/The Role**

As a Family Guides Support Worker you will be managing a small case load of families and working alongside them towards self-identified goals, and with the families permission, signposting where necessary.
