About the Role
Following the award of a number of significant contracts the Company is seeking to recruit a dedicated Commercial Administrator reporting directly to the Head of Commercial.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of commercial documents, including contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements and presentations.
- Support the commercial team in conducting market research, gathering data, and analysing industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information, compile reports, and provide timely updates on commercial projects and initiatives.
- Coordinate and maintain the commercial department's filing system, ensuring proper organisation and easy access to important documents.
- Assist in managing communication channels with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth business operations.
- Monitor and track the progress of commercial projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Help prepare and deliver regular reports to the Head of Commercial and SLT.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of streamlined processes and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the commercial department.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights and support decisionmaking.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in all commercial activities.
About You
Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving license.
- Educated to Alevel or equivalent standard
- Proven experience in a commercial administrative or support role, preferably within either the defence or aerospace sectors.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling complex documentation and data.
- Proficient in using office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, presentation tools).
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyse, and present data and information effectively.
- Proactive and selfmotivated, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and commercial practices is desired.
- Experience with Microsoft packages
- Must be a British Citizen or have an existing right to work in the UK
- Ability to commit to occasional national travel
- Ability to hold Security Clearance 5 years continuous residence in the UK
