    The School/role:


    I am working with a an amazing PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) based in Birmingham that is seeking for passionate and resilient SEMH Teachers to join their team.

    This fantastic Specialist Centre is for Students aged between 11-16 who are unable to attend their mainstream provision because of medical reasons.

    The school strives to provide the best quality teaching and learning with an inclusive and personalised curriculum. This is a full-time post and will run until the end of the academic year.

    The candidate for this role will be experienced supporting children alongside children with a range of different academic attainment levels.

    It is essential that these students have a SEMH Teacher to act as a positive role model as well as good academic knowledge to provide lesson support.

    The team within the school are very supportive and will help you along the way. The staff in the school aim to give the best possible educational experience for their students. This job opportunity is very fulfilling for people who have teaching assistant experience.

    Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background


    • PECS and Makaton training/experience
    • Level 1 safeguarding certificate
    • Recent school based references
    • Valid Photo ID - Driving Licence or passport
