    We are delighted to offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Science to join our high achieving, successful and dedicated team on a part time (3 days per week) permanent basis from September 2024.

    The successful applicant will be professional, adaptable and dedicated to delivering high quality teaching of the Science curriculum. You will have strong communication skills and will be able to work well within a team, yet be able to demonstrate an ability to utilise your own initiative. You will play a key role in teaching, supporting and inspiring our pupils in their Science lessons from Year 7 to Year 11, demonstrating the skills required to engage all students in their learning. For the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to teach Post-16 within our highly successful Sixth Form.

    We expect the successful applicant to demonstrate a clear understanding of how to deliver the Science curriculum and raise the standards and achievement of our students. The ability to consistently teach inspirational lessons will be supported by our fit for purpose facilities and resources and excellent training and development opportunities on offer.

    You would be joining a committed community of Science teachers who collaborate effectively on all aspects from sharing high quality resources, mutual coaching conversations and sharing good practice.

    Teachers also benefit from a comprehensive CPL calendar that involves subject specialist input alongside wider development of teaching skills such as deliberate practice.

    We welcome applications from experienced teachers and ECTs. If you are an ECT, you would benefit from our school's comprehensive ECT programme alongside training and support from both subject and the wider school.
