The Business

We are exclusively working with a construction and manufacturing business based in Ellesmere Port who are looking for a C&I Electrical Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

To undertake and manage the day to day electrical C&I operation
To provide electrical & instrument support to the maintenance department to carry out repairs on all plant equipment in a safely and timely manner
Ensuring all machinery and equipment on site is electronically safe
Generate pre job hazard assessment and rick assessment in order to obtain the safety permits when required.
Provide feedback and improvement / ideas on work done
Full lifecycle development of hard and software of control or protection systems
To have excellent communication and organisation skills, to then be able to develop and maintain relationships internally and externally with clients
Work within a budget for assigned tasks
To solve issues as and when they arise

Qualifications

HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical / instrumentation / control engineering
Knowledge and experience on PLC systems
Knowledge and experience on monitoring and automation systems
Knowledge and experience on the system design lifecycle of a C&I system including design, assessment, testing, installation, commissioning, specification, and maintenance of safety.
The ability to manage and plan your own time within a timeconstrained project
Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles
Experience in RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance), RCA (Root Cause Analysis) or FME (Failure Effective Analysis)
