    Description

    Currently we have an excellent permanent opportunity for a registered practitioner psychologist to join our client, who are implementing a new service, providing Trauma Informed Care and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) with women who have complex needs and require help to manage their internal processes in a safer way – you will work within a well established 38 bed female low/medium forensic service.


    Hours:
    Full Time 37.5 hr (can consider part time)
    Forensic Female
    Providing specialist clinical advice, including assessing care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating care programs.

    Attending meetings to contribute to clinical care and service user progress, and liaising with external professionals as part of the MDT/CPA process.

    Leading collaborative risk assessments and management for patients, supporting input from other MDT members.
    Supervising junior department members, including Trainee and Assistant Psychologists.
    Ensuring the highest standards of clinical governance, ethical practice, and data protection.
    Ideally a Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications
    Have experience of applying psychological knowledge to a forensic/clinical setting
    Have previous experience of conducting research and project working
