    Compensation:
    £50,000 - £60,000 / year

    We're GEEIQ (pronounced like 'Geek') and we're a data platform and insights provider that's used by the likes of Gucci, Walmart, L'Oreal and Porsche to navigate and engage virtual worlds.

    We believe that the metaverse hype is over and that brands demand more than just visibility when it comes to activating in these spaces, they need to be able to measure, attribute and identify tangible revenue opportunities.

    We're predominantly office based, where we foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.

    Our purpose is to convert data into actionable insights, and strategic recommendations to support our GEEIQ users to make informed decisions in virtual worlds.

    In line with our expansion at GEEIQ, we're excited to welcome an Insights and Data Analyst to the team.

    We're looking for someone who's passionate about translating deep analysis into insights and conclusions that everyone can grasp.

    The Insights and Data Analyst's role is to help internal and external stakeholders understand how they can most effectively drive business growth, through the delivery of analysis and storytelling.

    This will require a blend of technical data analysis skills and a practical understanding of how this information impacts our product strategy.

    Collaborating closely with the Insights & Partnerships Director, this role will be instrumental in extracting brand-specific insights that will be used to develop bespoke product dashboards, measurement tools, and comprehensive reports.

    You will have an eye for detail and possess the ability to find unique and relevant data insight trends, ahead of the curve.


    Data Interpretation & Insight Generation:
    Process data using tools to manipulate and transform data into usable format.

    Interpret complex data sets, turning raw data and pre-processed data into valuable insights that inform both our internal strategies and our customers' decisions.

    Decipher patterns and trends from large volumes of data, translating these findings into actionable intelligence.
    Championing a data-driven culture, partnering with internal stakeholders to translate insights into actionable strategies.

    Create dashboards and presentations that allow both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand the insights derived from the data.

    Support the development of thought leadership content and knowledge assets, contributing to industry publications.
    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business, Economics, or Data Science.
    ~3 + years of proven experience in market research, data analysis, or strategic insights role.
    ~ Focus on B2C Media sectors such as gaming, digital entertainment, or social media would be an advantage.
    ~ Proficient in database querying and manipulation across diverse platforms such as MySQL, MongoDB, etc. Strong analytical skills to synthesize, analyze, and deliver data and insights tailored to specific client contexts.
    ~ Data manipulation and analysis utilizing programming languages such as Python and R, an understanding of their application in extracting insights from complex datasets.
    ~ Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with the capability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies.
    ~ Experience in a SaaS or data analytics environment.
