The Scottish Football Association is looking to recruit a plumber to undertake plumbing pre-planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, repairs, fault diagnosis, breakdown repairs and new works on equipment and carry out minor new installations at Hampden Park on a six months fixed term basis.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for coordinating your own activities to carry out planned and reactive repairs and to ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety guidelines, statutory acts and regulations.
  • Full knowledge in all aspects of faultfinding diagnostics and maintenance to heating systems, various water, sanitary and drainage systems, including unblocking of drains, toilets, and sanitary appliances.
  • Responsible for Legionella / water hygiene compliance and swimming pool plant operation.
  • Responsible for adhoc tasks ensuring they are continually addressed to ensure the safety of the persons within the Stadium.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:


  • 5 years + working as a plumber in a similar role and environment
  • Good basic math skills
  • Legionella / water hygiene compliance
  • Time served Plumbing
  • Driving License
  • NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating or equivalent
The role will involve working evenings and weekends as the event schedule dictates.
