Description:

The Scottish Football Association is looking to recruit a plumber to undertake plumbing pre-planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, repairs, fault diagnosis, breakdown repairs and new works on equipment and carry out minor new installations at Hampden Park on a six months fixed term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for coordinating your own activities to carry out planned and reactive repairs and to ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety guidelines, statutory acts and regulations.
Full knowledge in all aspects of faultfinding diagnostics and maintenance to heating systems, various water, sanitary and drainage systems, including unblocking of drains, toilets, and sanitary appliances.
Responsible for Legionella / water hygiene compliance and swimming pool plant operation.
Responsible for adhoc tasks ensuring they are continually addressed to ensure the safety of the persons within the Stadium.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

5 years + working as a plumber in a similar role and environment
Good basic math skills
Legionella / water hygiene compliance
Time served Plumbing
Driving License
NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating or equivalent

The role will involve working evenings and weekends as the event schedule dictates.
