We now have an opportunity for a Desk Based Account Manager (DBAM) to join our team EMEA Head Office in Oldham.

As a DBAM, you will be a proactive Account Manager operating as the main contact for our customers and responsible for developing long term customer sales relationships.

The role will be working Monday to Friday within a hybrid model (3 days in the office and 2 days at home).

Deliver individual sales target against revenue, GP and exclusive brands and AV, as defined by ADI UK Leadership Team
includes outbound calls to generate sales and service opportunities
Develop and document account development plans for existing and new customers
Capture all customer detail accurately in our CRM system
Direct customers to the correct teams for technical support & account queries
Support new business onboarding and revenue generation
Manage customer expectation and communicate with customer to resolve issues, complaints, invoice queries and back order management
Provide exceptional customer experience against all customer transactions, aligned with our CX charter
Submit an accurate monthly sales forecast on a weekly basis
Proven sales/customer service experience in a similar position, ideally from B2B product distribution background (ideally trade, electronics, security products)
A proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices
Proven professional experience in generating & closing sales opportunities
PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Excel, knowledge of SAP and Sales Force (desirable)
Strong commercial acumen and ability to work both independently and as a team player
Ability to maintain and build sales profit and margin via an existing customer base

Ability to support and drive marketing initiatives, seek new opportunities to build sales and profit, and develop new custom.

Clear understanding of excellence in customer service and be able to exceed this at all times
