We are looking for an Electrical Assembly Technician with electrician skills who will be responsible for the electrical builds of water treatment equipment.
Full training on our products is planned into our Induction.This is an interesting and important role for our business that leads into a full career This position is based 100% at our site in Peterborough.
What are the day to day duties?Fabrication, installation, and documentation of cables, trays, and rack assembliesSingle-phase, three-phase, high-voltage, and low-voltage electrical circuitsPreparation, soldering, and termination of wire cable harnessesUsing blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and electronic schematicsTroubleshooting electrical instrumentation and mechanical equipment and presenting technical solutions to address these issues.
Finding problems using programmable logic controllers (PLC) and communicating with the manufacturing and maintenance team to prevent impact on the equipment.
Programming instrumentation to relay information to a central HMITesting analog inputs and outputs to ensure accurate calibration.Configuration of equipment using PLC interfaces (GE Fanuc, Allan Bradley, Siemens)Commissioning of special build equipment, electrically and mechanically.
Maintaining the quality of all the products, performing incoming and outgoing quality control tests, inspections, and repair of all plant and field equipment.
