    Description

    Overview: Working alongside our client, a leading injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join their team to support continued business growth.

    Remit:

    • This position will suit an experienced Quality Manager with proven experience in a manufacturing environment
    • As Quality Manager you will play a key role in ensuring products meet and exceed customer expectations

    Role:

    • In the role of Quality Manager you will be responsible for organizing and leading quality inspections, managing non-conformance and overseeing supplier quality assurance
    • As Quality Manager you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving Quality Management Systems such as IATF16949, ISO9001 and ISO14001
    • Managing internal quality and supplier audits
    • Liaise with external certification bodies
    • Develop Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans etc
    • Manage and compile Production Part Approval Planning Process (PPAP)
    • Assist in APQP Coordination
    • Assist in conducting process / machine capability studies
    • Liaise with customers on any Quality issues

    Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years experience of quality engineering / management within manufacturing
    • Good people management skills
    • Auditing experience
    • Knowledge of processes such as injection moulding, paint finishing and assembly work
    • Experience of working to IATF16949 and ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
    • Attention to detail
    • Good problem-solving skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
