    Band 6 Community Neuro Rehab Physiotherapist

    Full Time 37.5 hours per week

    We have an exciting opportunity become available within our Specialist Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team for a Band 6 Physiotherapist.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking, and dynamic physiotherapist who is able to work effectively and flexibly as part of a Multidisciplinary Team in a Neuro Rehabilitation Setting.

    This is an excellent opportunity to develop in this field of rehab. The department is are committed to CPD and delivering high standards of patient care.

    Main duties of the job
    • Assess and treat own caseload of patients in a variety of settings including patients homes and clinics who need specialist neurological intervention
    • To act as an autonomous practitioner and source of expertise in these areas to junior staff and other health care professionals.
    • Undertakes training including audit and evaluation. To be involved in the training and supervision of student physiotherapists

    • HCPC registration

    • Previous NHS Post graduate clinical experience
    • Broad Range of post graduate clinical experience as a Band 5 in a rotational post
    • Clinical Supervisory Skills
    • Evidence of working with people with complex rehabilitation needs

    • Experience of working in a community setting
    • Previous experience of working in the area of neuro and Stroke Teams
