- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of steelwork projects from initial contract review through to final handover.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure on-time delivery and within budget constraints.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and subcontractor services, negotiating contracts and agreements as needed.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, addressing concerns and promoting customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on steel fabrication and installation.
- Strong understanding of steelwork processes, techniques, and regulations.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
