Description
We are recruiting for a Commercial Account Handler to join our team in Wolverhampton, on a full time basis.The purpose of your role will be to assist with the provision of technical, administrative and client service support to the insurance service Sales Executives/Directors.
Overview of duties:
Responding to client/insurer/third party enquiries by written or oral meansReviewing the demands and needs of clients and advise on the most appropriate insurances to meet their demands and needsInstructing Insurers of customer requirementsInforming customers of Insurers requirementsObtaining, collating and presenting information for the purposes of obtaining quotationsAssessing, assimilating, analysing and presenting to Insurers to achieve risk acceptance for both new and renewal businessSeeking quotations from Insurers/rating guides/on line facilitiesAnalysing and comparing covers and quotationsLiaising with Claims Unit Manager, Account Executives/Directors on communications receivedPresenting quotations/reports/documents to Account Executives/DirectorsManaging client renewals including renewal documentation, renewal quotations and accounting procedures ensuring FCA deadlines are adhered toPerson specificationKnowledge, skills and abilities:Excellent communication skillsGood time managementBe proactive, innovative and able to take the initiative
Education and experience:
Minimum of 2 years Account Handling experienceExpert knowledge of insurance is desirableGood knowledge of FCA regulatory requirementsKey information: Salary: Competitive depending upon experienceHours: 35 hours Monday - FridayLocation: WolverhamptonBenefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Pensions etc If this sounds like something you are interested in please apply, or contact Paige Hughes for further information.
