Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting a large service sector business based in Warwick as they seek to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant on a 12 Month FTC.

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller in overseeing the accounting records and their accuracy within a legal entity in a period when the Financial Controller is focusing on a major ERP system implementation.

Key responsibilities:

Ensure delivery of the complete monthly financial statements for your legal entity in the consolidation system
Drive daily control and monitoring within all relevant accounting processes
Ensure completion of all statutory and compliance reporting for the legal entity
Ensure that the figures are analysed and documented according to guidelines
Coordinate and facilitate audits for the legal entity
Ensure compliance with internal control objectives, IFRS, local GAAP and Financial Policies and Procedures
Support the different stakeholders throughout the entire closing process not only within own function/organisation
Drive/be a part of projects where legal accounting is involved and need to be represented
General assistance of the team.

You must have good technical knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP to be considered for this position.
