Main Responsibilities:

Preparing and testing the Excel, PowerPoint and Word documents required by Business Units to complete their forecast submissions
Administering the forecast environment within the cloudbased financial software
Review of forecast submissions and outputs
Liaising with Business Unit finance teams to assist and resolve issues
Preparation and consolidation of centrally managed unit financials
Reporting and analysis of consolidated forecast outputs
Construction, use and interpretation of financial models
Liaising with Business Unit finance teams
Review and evaluation of proposals
Various projects, such as developing channel and product reporting mechanisms
Interrogating and reporting from the financial reporting system
Assisting in administration and development of financial systems and procedures
Monitoring and reporting external analyst expectations vs in house plans
Assistance in preparation of board papers
Assisting the Financial Reporting team with statutory reporting and auditor engagement
Other ad hoc tasks and support when required.

Key Skills and experience:

Newly or nearly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or comparable)
Strong mathematical skills and excellent attention to detail
Ambitious and enthusiastic individual, eager to develop as part of a value adding finance team
Confidence and ability to communicate at all levels within the business.
Strong Excel and moderate PowerPoint skills
Desirable:_
Financial or management reporting, including budgeting / forecasting and consolidations
Building financial models or performing investment appraisals
International business / plc/ multicurrency environments
