The successful post holder will be able to demonstrate competently undertaking a number of diverse specialist or technical activities/assessments and make decisions based on those assessments within a service function


DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • As part of a highways team, take responsibility for the technical processes relating to carrying out a range of co-ordination, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of activities
  • Ensure those working on the highway are in accordance with permit conditions issued and statutory requirements under relevant legislation
  • Be responsible for scheduling and carrying out systematic and ad hoc site inspections, investigations and surveys of street works, road works and highway licences
  • Gather and produce evidence to support and enforce breaches relating to highway legislation or health & safety.
  • Responsible for authorising and advising on early start, extension and duration challenges for all works on the highway.
  • To provide technical operational Streetworks assistance and support to internal officers and external organisations, including traffic management, diversion routes or other highway network related activities.

Personal Requirements:


  • Vocational qualification or experience to level 3 or 4 relevant to the service user group or equivalent.
  • A NRSWA supervisory qualification is essential along with relevant Industry experience
  • Significant practical experience of working within Network Management or equivalent area

  • Fri, 09:00pm 17:00pm
  • Rate: £17.27
