    Description

    A leading US law firm is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Regulatory & Privacy Assistant to join their team in London.

    As the Regulatory & Privacy Assistant you will work closely with the Regulatory & Privacy Manager to support a variety of projects related to risk management processes and regulatory compliance.

    Key responsibilities for the Regulatory and Privacy Assistant role:

    • Assist the Regulatory & Privacy Manager in conducting research on regulatory requirements and privacy laws relevant to the Firm's operations.
    • Help in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Collaborate with various teams across the organisation to gather information and documentation necessary for compliance efforts.
    • Support the Regulatory & Privacy Manager in drafting reports, memos, and other communications related to regulatory and privacy matters.
    • Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and privacy laws that may impact the Firm's operations.

    Qualifications:

    • Law Degree or Graduate Diploma in Law.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance principles and privacy laws, particularly in the context of the legal industry.
    • Excellent research skills with the ability to analyse complex legal and regulatory documents.
    • Working knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation and/or DAC6 would be an advantage.
