    The Cedars Academy, part of the Lionheart Educational Trust
    At the Cedars Academy we believe in being kind, working hard, and taking responsibility.

    We believe school should be a calm, and safe place, where teachers can get on and teach, and pupils can get on and learn without disruption.

    We explicitly and relentlessly teach pupils positive behaviours and we have a simple, centralised behaviour and detention system, run and supervised by SLT, to support teachers with this.

    We are looking for a passionate, committed and inspiring Music Teacher to join our Team.

    Music Teacher – on a permanent, full-time contract starting from August 2024.
    Based at The Cedars Academy in Birstall, part of the Lionheart Educational Trust
    We are looking for a brilliant Music Teacher to join our Creative faculty.

    The Creative Department is a collaborative team who are all passionate about seeing young people succeed in their subject and offer a vibrant place for students to learn and develop their creative skills.

    You will have the opportunity to develop your own vision for music education at The Cedars, shape the department and curriculum and grow the department into KS4.

    This goes for all members of our school and we pride ourselves on our staff sense of community.
