C£60,000 DOE

The Company:

ER Recruitment are very excited to be working with our client based in Dudley, who are an exceptional software provider, and are now looking to recruit an experienced, dynamic Software Developer with a proactive attitude to driving exceptional customer service.

Role & Responsibilities of the Software Developer:
Although not a full-time development role, the position will be responsible and have sufficient development knowledge and experience for the following areas as decided and delegated by the line manager:

Specify development standards.
Ensure all developments comply with current company development standards.
Specify, maintain and operate software release control procedures.
Ensure all developments comply with company design concepts.
Coordinate modification and version releases to the customer base.
Develop and maintain demonstration datasets.
Update system documentation.
Specify developments proposed within the product development forum.
Help other development staff as needed with their coding and fixing complex software faults.
Prepare well for and attend client and software demonstration sessions and meetings with or without line manager

About You as the Software Developer:

Full UK Drivers Licence is essential
A thorough knowledge of ERP systems
Previous leadership experience ideal

Additional Benefits:

Potential for hybrid working by prior arrangement with line management after settling in period
Monday to Friday 8.45am5.30pm (with an earlier finish on Friday)
28 days holiday per year, including Statutory Holidays. For every year worked, after two years of service, you are entitled to an extra day of holiday per annum, up to a maximum of 33 days.
