    Description
    Join Lancashire's leading mental health charity Thank you for your interest in working with Lancashire Mind. 5 – 21 hours per week (part-time)

    Contract:
    Fixed-term until 31 March 2025


    Location:
    Office base is Chorley. Delivery of sessions will be from home or in the community. Travel to office and venues around Lancashire for meetings, occasional national travel for network meetings
    Do you want to join an organisation who are passionate about improving mental health and wellbeing for Lancashire communities?

    You will deliver predominantly one to one wellbeing coaching with some group support to both adults and young people.

    Ideally you will have some experience of using coaching and CBT techniques such as guided self-help, psychoeducation and thought challenging.

    You will have excellent communication skills and experience of working in partnership with other stakeholders to deliver projects.

    To excel in the role, you will be able to motivate, inspire and engage a wide range of people and be proactive in your approach.

    We also offer a workplace pension scheme, paid emergency time off to care for dependents, regular supervision, and a commitment to supporting learning and development opportunities.

    We have also recently enhanced our annual leave offer with basic annual leave of 25 days, plus 3 days closure between Christmas and New Year, long service leave, the option to buy or sell annual leave and a half-day wellbeing day for all staff.

    You will have a mixture of home and office working with meetings across Lancashire

    To succeed in the role, you will need excellent communication skills, project management and line management experience.

    The current postholder is going on maternity leave so we are looking for someone who is able to step into the role and hit the ground running.

    You will be motivated, flexible and adaptable.
    Along with managing the rollout of Lancashire Mind's therapeutic services, you will manage several coaching focussed projects. As such you will lead on partner and funder liaison, promotion, quality assurance, monitoring and reporting.

    You will work with a range of voluntary and community organisations and will identify and develop new opportunities for services.

    Lancashire Mind has a dedicated workplace wellbeing programme to ensure staff are supported with their own wellbeing which includes an Employee Assistance Programme, a half-day wellbeing day and wellbeing activities throughout the year.

    In this new, exciting and challenging role, we are seeking an inspirational leader who will take responsibility for strategically overseeing our growing housing offer, whilst providing oversight to our adult focused community engagement projects.

    There is significant synergy between these two services and the Head of Housing and Community Projects will have a responsibility to drive growth, impact and continuous improvement.

    In this newly created role, you will use your housing knowledge and project management expertise to explore and realise the potential of the tenancy management and community engagement projects services.

    The People & Governance Subcommittee oversees key areas of HR, including policy, board and staff performance, wellbeing and development.

    The Finance & Audit Subcommittee oversees the financial governance of the organisation to ensure financial sustainability and finance practices and procedures are maintained consistently to satisfy statutory and regulatory requirements.

    Head of Housing and Community Projects Recruitment Pack

    Some of our job roles require significant travel across the county of Lancashire; we reimburse all travel expenses for journeys made during your working day, other than your commute to and from work.
