    Description

    Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Team Manager within the Assessment Team to work full time based in Bedford.

    The salary for this permanent Team Manager job is up to £59,543 per annum.


    To be responsible for the management of the identified social work service and, where appropriate, other related services in a given geographical area of specialism.

    To be a member of the local management team and provide support to the Head o Service and to participate as a representative of the Council, as required, in other structures established for multi-agency working.

    To be responsible for the delegated budget in line with Council procedures and regulations or any agreed pooled budget arrangements to ensure effective use of financial resources.

    To contribute to the timely analysis of management information to inform and improve service delivery.
    To monitor, evaluate and review performance targets, identify deficiencies and take remedial action where necessary.
    To ensure the requirements of the Complaints Procedure are compiled with and, if required respond to complaints.

    To ensure that all work is delivered to children, young people and their families/carers and to communities, in a manner that complies with equality principles.

    To undertake any other duties or tasks commensurate to the post as may be required by Senior Managers.
    Continual professional development.
