- Handling a variety of product types, storing and retrieving samples from temperature regulated locations ranging from 4°C to -196°C.
- Support shipping activities, determining the most appropriate shipment method through detailed knowledge of procedures and determining the most appropriate shipment method through detailed knowledge of company procedures
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure all internal specifications and regulatory requirements are met.
- Preparation of air waybills and associated shipment documentation.
- Post-shipment dispatch work, including updating and maintaining shipment records to regulatory and HD requirements plus communicating results and issues.
- Accurately following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensuring completion of duties with minimal errors to support department metrics.
- Contributing to operational excellence and assisting in the further development of a Lean approach to process flows.
- Receiving shipments and materials into the building.
- Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to balance tasks concurrently to achieve deadlines.
- Proactive team player who is motivated and focused on success.
