Main purpose of the job:


As we see to grow our campus, we have identified the need for a dedicated Student Support Administrator to join the support team and provide student-focused, personalised, consistent, and professional front-line services, aiming to resolve all incoming queries at first contact.


Primary duties will focus on providing bespoke information, advice, and guidance to internal and external stakeholders, campus reception duties, administrative support to the campus operations team, and general support to the wider campus teams as and when required.


Working pattern 5.30pm to 10.00pm - term time only, however,
there may be a need to work during the term time.

  • Contributing to the creation of a friendly & supportive atmosphere for students & staff.
  • Working on the Reception desk, providing a professional and efficient frontline service.
  • Dealing impartially, effectively & courteously with students, colleagues & external visitors.
  • Maintaining Reception and lobby areas to ensure they are neat, tidy & presentable at all times and that nondigital material kept there is relevant and uptodate.
  • Producing & sending out routine correspondence as required, such as prearrival communication.
  • Working with the College Manager & other colleagues to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Managing own workload and using judgement when to refer decisions to the College Manager.
  • Monitor stocks of stationary, leaflets, printer inks etc. and complete stationary order forms for the budget holders to sign when new stationary is required, in conjunction with the Facilities Manager.
  • Making calls for potential students for their enrolment.
  • Taking student reviews either in campus or online, wherever required.
  • Managing admission queries through college Management Information Software (MIS).


Work flexibly as part of the campus administrative team, contributing to the development of administrative systems and procedures, in order to ensure that a high quality administrative support service is provided to students & staff.


Salary:
£12.00 per hour
