Main purpose of job


The purpose of this role is to coordinate a range of marketing and promotional activities aimed at supporting student recruitment at Mont Rose College (MRC).

The post holder will support in a wide range of areas relating to student recruitment, such as marketing and advertising activity, the delivery of online and in-person recruitment events, school and college liaison projects, and enquiry management.


The role holder will need to develop a strong knowledge of Mont Rose College (MRC) and our course provision so that they can effectively promote us to potential students and answer queries about our offer.

They will also work closely with colleagues and other teams across MRC, building strong relationships and working to ensure that all our activity meets our recruitment objectives.


Main Duties
Enhance existing/develop new relationships with schools and colleges and other national organisations

Take a lead role in developing and implementing the student recruitment strategy

To help maintain the recruitment webpages alongside the digital team and monitor their effectiveness.

Systematically gather market and competitor intelligence and conduct market research, to support strategic development.

To create quarterly marketing reports reviewing activity and outlining future activity.

To monitor and analyse all media and digital activity to ensure exposure is maximised.

To manage the process of maintaining an accurate marketing-relevant information database.

Attendance at student recruitment activities (e.g. fairs, online webinars, agent visits and alumni activities) relevant across all the College's programmes.


Work with the admissions team to develop a range of engagement opportunities including open days, online information sessions, and social network groups to support student recruitment.

Report on effectiveness of marketing activities and identify opportunities to innovate and improve service.

Develop communications for enquiries and applicants to support conversion.

Engage in continuous personal and professional development in line with the demands of the role, including undertaking relevant training and development activities to develop themselves and support the development of others.

Ensure and promote the personal health, safety and wellbeing of staff and students.

Person Specification
A relevant first degree or equivalent qualification as well as experience of working in HE sector

Experience of working within the education sector is preferred.


A proven track record in a marketing role with a strong emphasis on digital, ideally within an international education marketing setting.

Demonstrable experience of the use of market research, insight and analysis to identify and evaluate marketing opportunities and to inform plans

Experience of planning and implementing successful campaigns

Knowledge and understanding of cultural differences and how to manage these in the context of student recruitment and marketing

In depth experience of social media platforms and their use in marketing and/or recruitment

Experience of planning, prioritising and organising work on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, individually and as part of a team, whilst ensuring the effective use of resources and delivering to tight deadlines

Strong project management skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate and adjust information that needs careful explanation or interpretation to suit the needs of different audiences

Result driven and self-motivated

Salary:
£26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
