Partner Financial are working with a Listed organisation that has a strong market presence and are currently undergoing a commercial transformation that will position the brand at the forefront of its market and main competitors.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will contribute and support the operational staff within the business unit by providing key insights and analysis to help drive the commercial decision-making process and challenge where appropriate.

The successful

candidate will take ownership of the business planning, forecasting process and you will be integral to the overall team to help drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with the business unit to actively drive the business by identifying key insights and emerging trends.
Leading cost reduction programmes across the businesses external spend and any retendering processes as required

Owning the management reporting process and collaborating with senior leadership across other brands to share best practice and insights which might impact Group.

Acting as a key advisor to the business unit through financial insight and data, helping to continually challenge assumptions.
Developing regular forecasts that accurately predict performance based on trends and drivers.
Ensuring ongoing control of all capital expenditure projects, using insights to advise on decisions to reduce cost
Owning the budgeting process and working closely with Group to ensure this is done in a timely manner.
Partnering with senior leadership to define and develop appropriate KPIs for the business.

Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
Proven track record of complex analysis of business performance in a commercial environment.
Previous experience building business cases for large business projects
Led cost reduction programmes across a similar size organisation
Previous experience working across multiple functions within a business.
