We are seeking an Assistant Divisional Nursing Director to come and join our compassionate senior leadership team at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust.
You will be supported in your role by the Director of Midwifery and an Assistant Divisional Midwifery / Nursing Director to achieve your ambitions and excel as a leader.
The post offers a unique development opportunity for a future Divisional Nurse Director to gain experiencing managing an exceptional team.
We are a dedicated team, with an inspiring vision, investing in the development of our future leadership team to support the ongoing development of our neonatal and gynaecology services.
In this role, you will be a visible and credible clinical leader, promoting compassionate leadership within your areas of responsibility whilst engaging your teams to improve standards of care.
The post holder will deputise for the Director of Midwifery / Divisional Nurse Director when required and support the delivery of the services to achieve consistency of practice, high standards of care and innovation with a strong patient safety focus.
They will work in conjunction with the Assistant Divisional Midwifery/Nursing Director and wider Divisional Management Team to ensure the delivery and achievement of the Family Care Divisional objectives and contribute to the on-going development of the midwifery and women's services.
Support the Director of Midwifery/Divisional Nurse Director to champion the delivery of excellent care of women, babies and their families providing compassionate leadership, and retaining a focus on engagement and co-production within the services.
Provide effective leadership within designated areas of responsibility promoting the highest standards of safe, high quality care and an effective learning environment for all staff.
Act as a key member of the Divisional Management Team contributing fully to the development delivery and achievement of all Divisional and speciality objectives.
Participate in a Senior Managers on-call rota tier 1.We ensure our patients receive the highest quality of Care and are guided by our trust Values. We are proud that our Trust has been rated as Good by the Quality Care Commission (CQC). This is in recognition of the patient experience and quality of care that our staff provide to patients. It is also supported by our Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional Framework for Professional Practice.
o Experience of leading and delivering programmes of improvement within a nursing setting including role design
oIn depth knowledge of governance and risk management
oExperience of line management of a group of clinical areas
oEvidence of recent continuous professional development
oMaster's degree or equivalent in health related subject
oExperience as a neonatal or gynaecology manager
oFormal management qualification
