We currently have an excellent opportunity available to join The Bedford College Group (TBCG) as an Executive Assistant to our Chief Executive Officer.

    About Us:

    The Bedford College Group, established in 2017 after the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College, is now the leading education provider in the South East Midlands, welcoming over 15,000 students each year.

    Today, the Group comprises multiple colleges across Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire: Bedford College, Central Bedfordshire College, Tresham College, Shuttleworth College, The Bedford Sixth Form, The Corby Sixth Form, and the National College for Motorsport alongside Silverstone race circuit. Additionally, the Group offers IT training at community-based Learning Centres in Bedford, Corby, and Kettering.

    Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

    As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will act as the CEO's primary point of contact, managing correspondence, phone calls, and their email inbox. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive support by handling correspondence, managing diaries and travel arrangements, overseeing expenses, coordinating HR system approvals, scheduling meetings, maintaining filing systems, organizing events, and ensuring smooth communication between the CEO and stakeholders, contributing significantly to TBCG's success.

    Experience and Qualifications:

    We are looking for candidates with extensive experience as an Executive Assistant, excellent interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders across all levels, strong IT skills including Microsoft Office suite proficiency, and exceptional organizational abilities.

    • Full-time position: 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year
