    Description

    AXA Global Healthcare have an opportunity for a Global Sales Manager to join the Distribution team following record growth over the last few years.

    Holding global responsibility for management of intermediary sales channels, this role is responsible for building relationships, supporting the current AGH portfolio and developing new business opportunities.


    At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.

    You'll work part of your week away from home, at our Tunbridge Wells office. This role can also be accommodated as location independent however will include frequent travel to our Tunbridge Wells office.


    Client management - work closely with the AGH Account Management team to ensure all existing AGH business renews on an annual basis.

    Work with local AGH partners, local AXA entities and colleagues in AGH UK/AGH EU to develop multi-tier relationships.


    Identify key areas of focus for intermediaries to develop their business by utilising marketing opportunities, by supporting training needs and facilitating joint hospitality events.

    In depth knowledge of the international health market, particularly the Intermediated retail market essential.

    Strong relationship and account management experience.

    Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a standalone role.

    Commercial awareness - the ability to establish and identify opportunities.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and comfortable with learning new systems and platforms as necessary.


    This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
