    Food Service Assistant - Preston, Lancashire

    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

    Salary: £12.00 per hour

    We're hiring a General Service Assistant to join our essential team at Cardinal Newman College, Larkhill Road, Preston, PR1 4HD

    Responsibilities

    Expected to adapt to business needs. Daily tasks may vary, but will likely involve:

    • Preparing and serving food and drinks
    • Clearing tables
    • Handling payments
    • Restocking and rotating stock
    • Washing dishes
    • Client service focus
    • Cleaning both front and back areas
    • Maintaining cleanliness standards
    • Preparing public areas as needed
    • Completing necessary training like Food Hygiene Level 2 and Health and Safety Level 2
    • Training provided both on the job and through our e-learning platform

    Requirements

    • Previous similar experience
    • Team player with flexibility in tasks
    • DBS and security checks required
