Description

The Role

The position of Accounts Payable Clerk plays a key role in providing financial services for the company. This position supports the Accounts Payable Manager and the wider AP team, ensuring all services meet high standards and company requirements.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and familiarity with MRI Horizon.

Responsibilities

Processing weekly payment runs (BACS and CHAPs)
Investigating and resolving outstanding Aged Creditor items
Reviewing and reconciling supplier statements
Handling queries and disputes with suppliers
Processing manual invoices and credit notes using the MRI Horizon system
Investigating overpayments and payment issues
Receipting Purchase Order(s) against Horizon records
Managing post receipting and distribution
Responding to routine enquiries
Liaising with clients to resolve receipting or overdue invoice issues
Compliance with Processes, Procedures, and Company Policies
General admin and housekeeping duties
Other ad-hoc duties as required

Person Specification

The ideal candidate should have proven work experience in property management or a financial environment, be able to work independently with attention to detail, possess IT skills, and have the ability to focus on tasks efficiently.
