    Job Title – Senior Geotechnical Engineer

    The Opportunity

    We are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer based in our Fitzroy Street office in central London. You will have the freedom to push boundaries, develop new skills and work on high profile projects around the world, including major infrastructure projects, property developments, energy facilities, and work in developing countries.

    You will be expected to direct geotechnical analysis and design, site supervision, production of drawings, specifications, and reports - mentoring and supervising more junior members of the team when needed. You will have the opportunity to develop client relationships, and to engage with the wider geotechnical community.

    Is this role right for you?

    If so, you'll have:

    • Strong background in geotechnical analysis and design. Background in Finite Element Design (FE) and numerical analysis
    • MEng or good Civil Engineering-based qualification with post graduate qualification in a geotechnical related subject, preferably Soil Mechanics.
    • Chartered status with the relevant body or be close to attaining Chartered status
    • Expertise in guiding the management and interpretation of ground investigations in a civil engineering consultancy.
