- Employee Relations Focus: Offer specialist advice and guidance throughout the employee life cycle, managing complex ER issues including restructures, redundancies, and TUPE transfers.
- Collaborate with senior management to implement HR strategies that support organisational performance.
- Engage in workforce planning and talent management to ensure alignment with the charity's goals.
- Support and enhance recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining the charity's strong employer brand.
- Lead training initiatives that enhance staff skills and compliance with organisational policies.
- Experience: Extensive HR generalist or business partnering experience within a multifaceted organisation. Prior experience in the charity or non-profit sector is desirable.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of employment law is essential. A Chartered Member of CIPD or equivalent qualification is preferred, though relevant experience will also be considered.
- Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at managing sensitive issues and influencing senior leadership.
- Aptitude: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage diverse and busy workloads effectively.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work within and respect the ethos of the charity. Commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.
