    Description


    Swimming Pool Attendant / Leisure Facilities Assistant / Health Club Lifeguard who has experience of life guarding, excellent customer care skills and is a professional and strong team player is required to work on the Weekends for a well-established and prestigious private members club based in South West London.

    An NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) would be beneficial – training course can be provided for suitable candidates not qualified

    FULL TRAINING PROVIDED UPON JOINING AND ON AN ONGOING BASISSALARY:
    £27,350 FTE / Actual Salary £10,940 (based on 16 hours per week) + Benefits


    LOCATION:
    South West London (SW15)– candidates will ideally benefit from living in close proximity to the club

    WORKING HOURS:

    The Swimming Pool Attendant / Leisure Facilities Assistant / Health Club Lifeguard you will be required to fulfil a variety of roles within the facility throughout the working day.

    As the Swimming Pool Attendant / Leisure Facilities Assistant / Health Club Lifeguard you will have the opportunity to deliver great service and as such you must be polite, professional, enthusiastic and vigilant at all times to provide a safe environment for both members and guests.

    DUTIESKey responsibilities of the Swimming Pool Attendant / Leisure Facilities Assistant / Health Club Lifeguard will include:

    Deliver a friendly welcome for all members and their guests upon entering the Health ClubAssist all members who have queries complaints or require information, in a polite, friendly and helpful mannerLifeguard the pool/s when requiredAssist and supervise members and their guests in their use of the facilities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all timesEnsure members, guests and staff, observe club rules and enforce them where necessaryMaintain NPLQ qualification and attend monthly training sessionsSet up and dismantle equipment as determined by the programme, in a proper and safe mannerAdminister first aid where suitably qualified, in accordance with Company proceduresComply with all operating procedures of the club and companyMaintain a professional attitude and ensure operational procedures are adhered toCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSNPLQ Course - Training provided for suitable candidates who are not qualifiedTrustworthy and reliableAbility to use your own initiativeExcellent customer care skills including respecting internal and external customersExcellent attention to detailSmart appearanceStrong team player and good communicatorExcellent timekeepingSafeguarding – training availableSuccessful Enhanced DBS as part of recruitmentBenefitsOvertime paidMeal whilst on dutyUniform2 additional life leave days per annumReferral schemeGenerous company pension after a qualifying periodStaff Fund of £550 paid twice yearly after qualifying periodUse of Club's sports facilities on working day following qualifying periodParkingDeath in Service of 4 x salaryOngoing training and developmentCareer pathwayHOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
