    Complex Care Assistant

    Full-Time
    80 - £85 Per Day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

    The School and Role

    ABC Teachers are seeking people to support students in school with complex care needs.


    Complex care schools represent a specialized sector within the educational landscape, catering to students with multifaceted and often profound needs.

    These schools serve individuals who require extensive support due to physical disabilities, cognitive impairments, or medical complexities.

    Unlike traditional schools, complex care schools are equipped with expertise and resources to support a wide range of conditions and learning styles.

    They offer a holistic approach, integrating academic instruction with therapeutic interventions, medical care, and life skills training.

    Complex care schools provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can learn, grow, and achieve their full potential, supported by dedicated educators, therapists, and staff members who are committed to their success.


    As part of your responsibilities, you will be tasked with providing personal care, assisting with educational activities, and supporting the overall well-being of students with Complex Care Needs.

    Collaborating closely with staff within the school, you'll ensure that students' educational, social, emotional, physical and mental health needs are met.

    The desired Care Assistant will possess:


    Experience in providing personal care and supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), preferably in a school setting.

    Dedication and commitment to fostering student well-being and progress.

    Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system. (Daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration.)
