    Description

This role is based in Deritend, Droitwich, accessible from the M5 and local public transport.

    The Role

    The Logistics Administrator ensures smooth logistics operations by managing administrative tasks, transport arrangements, and subcontractor communication. Key responsibilities include:

    • Providing necessary documentation to subcontractors
    • Resolving paperwork issues promptly
    • Updating production on subcontractor movements
    • Managing the release and archiving of subcontractor returns
    • Maintaining internal systems
    • Optimizing subcontractor transports for cost savings
    • Facilitating revert metal dispatches to overseas suppliers

    Qualifications:

    • Qualification in business administration (but not essential)
    • Customs trained or basic understanding with training to be provided

    Experience:

    • Good understanding of logistical movements of goods being shipped and delivered to and received from suppliers.
    • Experience working in a logistics, goods receiving environment in a manufacturing organisation.
