- Providing daily care for laboratory animals, including feeding, water and observation of health and behaviour
- Perform routine health checks and administer medications as prescribed by veterinarians
- Collaborate with researchers to support and assist in experimental protocols
- Participate in staff training programmes
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to animal care
- Currently hold their Home Office License
- Previous Animal Technician experience
- Experience working with rodents
- IAT Level 2
