    Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? AK Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a reputable school in Leeds, West Yorkshire

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supporting primary aged learners with SEND in their educational and personal development.
    • Collaborating with teachers and specialists to implement tailored learning plans.
    • Assisting in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
    • Providing one-on-one or small group support as needed.
    • Monitoring progress and reporting back to the teaching team.

    Requirements:

    • Enhanced DBS check on the update service, or willingness to apply through AK Teaching.
    • Comfortable working with a range of ages, as required by the school.
    • Previous experience in an SEND setting is highly advantageous.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support students with additional needs.
