    Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
    Location: Reading
    Salary Scale: £83 to £100 per day
    Start Date: Immediate

    Look no further Our schools in Maidenhead are seeking versatile and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistants with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) experience to join our team immediately. This is a rewarding opportunity with the potential of becoming a permanent full time role to make a real difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in this ensuring that students with special educational needs receive the support they require to succeed. Our team is supportive, collaborative, and dedicated to providing a high-quality education.

    As the dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of special educational needs, including physical, emotional, and learning difficulties. Your key responsibilities will include:

    1. Individualised Support: Provide tailored support to students, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential in Autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
    2. Progress Monitoring: Track students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents to ensure their educational development.
    3. Emotional Support: Create a nurturing and safe environment, offering emotional support and encouragement to students.
    4. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in the students' education.
    5. Inclusion: Promote a sense of belonging and inclusion for students with special educational needs within the school community.

    Requirements:

    • Relevant experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
    • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help students with special educational needs succeed.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively with the school team.
    • Previous experience in supporting students with special educational needs is advantageous.
